Also for those that are using other software with your mixtrack pro, you will have to go and 'enable' the mixtrack pro as the default audio device to use it again with the other software that you're using. So I closed serato and opened it again and volia!!!!! Everything was there like is was suppose to be!! So I don't know exactly what that was about but maybe you can add this to your trouble shoooting techniques. DJ intro was still responding to the left deck of my mixtrack pro. I clicked it just to see what would happen and music started playing the the computer speakers. so I right clicked on the mixtrack pro in the sound manager and a menu came up. I also saw the audio meter on the right going up and down with with the music playing in DJ intro but no volume was coming out of the headphones (Plugged into the mixtrack pro) or the computer speakers. This is where I saw the mixtrack pro as the default audio device. Create and share MIDI controller setups such as the Numark MixTrack Pro featured here.

The 2.2 update adds even more flexibility with MIDI Scripting. internal mic, external mic, speakers, headphones, etc. Deckadance 2 introduced class leading performance features like the integrated Gross Beat editor. Okay, with that being said I open my sound manager through the control panel where it listed all audio devices in and out. The mixtrack come with software to use it and with that software it tells the computer to make the mixtrack pro the default audio device. I'm not sure if we are allowed to mentioned brands on here, so I will just say 'software' instead.

If you want to play the master sound through speakers connected to your laptop, it’s better to set the master out in your DJ software to the onboard soundcardĦ) Plug in your headphones to the corresponding socketħ) Check master output from the speakers: play a track, set the crossfader to the deck playing, open the channel fader on the playing deck and then (slowly) open the main volume faderĨ) Check headphone/cue signal by hitting the (small round) cue button on the playing deck (use the other deck if master sound is still playing with a different track) Suggestion: do NOT try to loop back the output from your controller to your laptops mic in.

1) Hook up the MTP 2 to the laptop with a USB cableĢ) In windows, install the drivers that are recommended for your DJ softwareģ) In your DJ software, choose the MTP2 as your controller (if necessary)Ĥ) In your DJ software, set your audio to internal mixer and the outputs to master & cue on the MTP2ĥ) Hook up your controller with two RCA’s to a stereo (aux in is good).
